One by One’s fourth phase tested and evidenced whether the proposed model for practical digital literacy-building would be effective within a range of specific museum contexts.
This objective was achieved by running, analysing and evaluating the six action research interventions in the six partner museums (Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, National Museums Scotland, National Army Museum, Royal Pavilion and Museums Brighton and Hove, Derby Museums Trust, Museum of London).
Each intervention (co-designed by the partner museum during the research design workshop in Phase 3) related to that museum’s current strategic needs and capacity. Overseen by the phase lead locally, the interventions were each led by an embedded ‘digital fellow’.
